MEET OUR HERD

Our herd consists of four horses and two alpacas, thoughtfully chosen for our diverse personalities, preferences, ages, sizes, colours, and temperaments. This variety helps us connect meaningfully with each individual we meet. We represent a board and colourful range of breeds—from our smallest member, an American Miniature, whose spirit far exceeds his dog-sized body, to our tallest and gentlest giant, an Irish Cob, whose wide, welcoming back towers above most people’s heads. Our group also includes two native ponies—a wise Dartmoor and a playful Welsh—as well as two alpacas with ancestral roots in Peru: an elderly gentleman full of gentle wisdom and a spirited young female full of curiosity. Our herd has been together for nearly a decade, forming deep bonds and operating as a naturally self-managing collective. This means our individual needs are intuitively met: those who require more food naturally eat first; those sensitive to insects or weather have priority shelter; and whoever needs rest gains access to prime sleeping spots. Whenever we feel nervous or unwell, our companions instinctively offer grounding, soothing presence, helping us maintain balanced, healthy nervous systems. We've intentionally avoided sharing our individual names or detailed biographies here. Often, we become metaphors or symbolic representations of people or experiences in your life, and we prefer not to influence that natural connection. By meeting you without expectations, judgments, or preconceptions, we can engage authentically and meaningfully, helping you discover the insights and relief you seek.

How We Help

We have an extraordinary capacity to sense your heart rate, muscle tension, and breathing patterns from over 30 feet away. In fact, we’ll likely understand how you're feeling before you even enter our space. Our heightened sensitivity to subtle energetic frequencies enables us to intuitively grasp your emotional and physical state, meaning you don't need to explain or put your feelings into words unless you want to.
We don’t require bravery, forced positivity, or any pressure to step outside your comfort zone prematurely. Instead, we connect most effectively when you allow yourself to remain open, curious, and authentically vulnerable—exactly as you are. Timing is key; sometimes we'll gently help you regulate your nervous system before exploring deeper topics, while other times we may intuitively jump straight to the heart of your experience, using our natural movements to reflect your emotional reality or help form a meaningful constellation of relationships and experiences.
Our interactions often build upon previous sessions, recalling themes, insights, and progress. No prior horse experience is necessary—in fact, if you haven’t learned conventional horse-handling techniques, you'll probably feel especially comfortable with us. Here, there’s no riding, no whips, and no dominance-based training methods. Instead, you’ll discover your own intuitive way of relating with us, allowing profound insights to emerge naturally. Together, we’ll uncover what's beneath your difficulties, guiding you to the relief and clarity you seek.
